Job Opening: Host – Hospitable All-Rounder – Quirky Farm Stay

About Us:
Welcome to De Helleborus, a colorful mini-campsite nestled in the enchanting town of Engelbert, Groningen. We offer a unique farm experience with various accommodations, from bell and safari tents to caravans and a yurt. Our aim? To provide guests with a charming and cozy stay filled with homemade delights and activities.

Your Role:
As a Hospitable All-Rounder, you are the heart of our inn. You welcome guests, prepare meals, assist with cleaning alongside housekeeping, and create a warm atmosphere. In our close-knit team of professionals and volunteers, you contribute to an unforgettable stay for every guest. On quieter days, you pitch in around the property, in the garden, the forest, or with construction projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engaged and proactive personality with a passion for customer service and cleanliness.
  • Multitasker who can keep their composure even in busy situations.
  • Physically fit, an outdoor enthusiast, and preferably with green thumbs.
  • Flexible with a talent for creating a cozy environment.

  • Long-term commitment, available during March 15 – October 31, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically fit with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Availability of 20-36 hours per week.

    De Helleborus is a colorful mini-campsite with daily 10-55 guests, open from March 15th to October 31st. We operate according to permaculture principles and offer meals sourced from our own garden and forest. Here, everything is about doing it yourself and managing: from building facilities to creating a food forest and more.

    As a dynamic environment, we expect a certain level of stress resilience. We are perfectionistic, action-oriented, and enjoy a friendly atmosphere, but with a strict daily work structure.
